LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Good news: the Deepwell Caring Index continues its upward climb, due in large part to the personal stories and great advice we've been receiving from our friends all over the world.
RUBY WOOD'S WILL
Back in late 2009, a woman named Ruby Wood left the town some money in her will. She seemed to think that Deepwell could stand a little improvement in the caring department. Her lawyer opened the will back in March of last year (2010)
. It seems we have some work to do in our town, to raise our Deepwell Caring Index up to 300.
THE RUBYSBEQUEST WEBSITE
The idea is that one way to improve our level of caring is to use the Internet to ask people what caring means to them. People from all over are beginning to share award-winning stories and advice with us. It's really amazing that people from all over are collaborating to help create a better future for caring in this country.
THE MYSTERY: WHO WAS SHE?
Strangely, nobody in Deepwell knows who Ruby Wood was, yet she seems to have known all about our town (and cared enough about it to have put it in her will). Did Deepwell do a less-than-stellar job of caring for her or someone she cared about?
